Winding down the season

As the U.S. gears up for spring planting, Brazil farmers are winding down a corn and soybean growing season mixed with periods of drought and excess moisture.

Rich Posson, president of AFS RF Posson & Company, and a Agriculture Online Market Analyst, is working his way through southeast Brazil this week. Posson says the Brazilian crop has some holes in it. Therefore, Posson says the USDA might have reason to lower the Brazilian soybean production for 2009.
