Early calls for the commodities

A lower start is expected for the CBOT markets Friday morning. Early calls for the commodities are corn 5-7 cents lower, soybeans 3-5 cents lower, wheat 8-10 cents lower.

In overnight trading on the eCBOT, the March '10 corn futures contract traded 3 1/2 cents lower to $4.07 1/4 per bushel, while January soybeans were 1 cent lower at $10.38. March wheat was 6 cents lower at $5.78 per bushel. The Jan soymeal futures traded $3.60 per short ton lower at $307.50, and soyoil 0.09 higher at $39.98.
