Growers give high ratings to corn, soybean* herbicide

New data released by Valent U.S.A. Corporation reveals that growers who used Fierce™ Herbicide in field trials saw long-lasting control of broadleaves and grasses—as much as eight weeks. The positive results from the much-anticipated herbicide come at a time when university researchers are strongly recommending residual herbicides for a sound resistance management program.

In a series of crop destruct research field trials across 21 states in the 2011 season, growers, retailers and researchers reported that Fierce had excellent residual control of key weeds including: resistant Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, velvetleaf, common ragweed, common lambsquarters, morningglory, Pennsylvania smartweed and giant foxtail.
