Malaysia hosts World Palm Oil Confrence

An international meeting on palm oil will be held from November 15-17, 2011 at Kuala Lumpur International Conference Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The PIPOC 2011 will be held under the theme Palm Oil Fortifying and Energizing the World. It will discuss major issues affecting the palm oil industry including latest technology, research and innovations about the oil and it’s by products. The event will also act as a grand exhibition on the palm oil.

Among the topics to be discussed include agricultural biotechnology, modern food and lifestyles, and modern chemical and their effects on health sustainability among others.  The meeting is being organized by Malaysian Palm Oil Board and Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities. The last PIPOC conference in 2009 was attended by over 4000 delegates.
