Virginia Drive Green Challenge highlights John Deere equipment

A Drive Green Challenge event took place in Danville, Virginia, on Saturday, June 2, as people from around the state who have used farm equipment came together to celebrate the national push by John Deere, the Chatham Star Tribunereported.
According to the news outlet, the event featured a number of pieces of farm equipment from local retailers and tractor enthusiasts, and John Deere representatives were on hand to demonstrate the benefits of and how to use the company's machines.
"The Drive Green events give customers a one-stop opportunity to size up different utility tractors so they can find out exactly what horsepower tractor will best fit their property and the jobs they want to accomplish," a local equipment store manager told the news outlet.
The event helped local farmers and residential users understand how to choose the right size attachments and implements for their equipment.
According to the company website, the Drive Green Challenge is a national push to help Americans learn the best ways to use John Deere equipment, as representatives are traveling across the country and the agricultural firm is providing owners with a number of web-based resources.
