Our family make-up is a story all by itself. My parents adopted seven children, all from different backgrounds. After growing up, three adopted biological siblings left the family, as they were older and never bonded to our family. That left my oldest brother, who was killed later in life, my sister, another brother and me; I'm the youngest. We are all grown, married and have children.
My parents have always been ranchers, they love this lifestyle and I want to continue it onto the next generation.
Heidi comes from a little more "normal" background, whereas her parents had three children, all of whom are now grown with children. Heidi's father was an agriculture banker for 25 years and her mother is a retired school teacher.
Heidi and I are both in our late twenties. We have two small children, Kendra and Parker, and new baby Courtney. We both have college degrees from Dakota State University, Heidi's in Business Management and mine in Management for Information Systems. I am currently employed as a software developer for AgInfoLink, and Heidi is a full-time homemaker.
