An upcoming 60-minute live television report will take a look at the issues facing rural America. "Prospering in Rural America: An Inside Look at the Progress of Today’s Rural Communities," will air March 6 at 8:00 p.m. EST on RFD-TV.
The program, hosted by farm broadcaster Orion Samuelson and produced by advertising agency Osborn & Barr Communications, will feature interviews with experts in three categories. Senator Conrad Burns (R-MT) will discuss broadband access in rural America, Undersecretary for USDA Rural Development Thomas Dorr will address renewable energy, and American Farm Bureau Federation Chief Economist Bob Young will discuss his organization's recent study on quality of life issues.
