AgrowKnowledge awards scholarships to college science students
Twenty science students from colleges in 12 states have been awarded scholarships by AgrowKnowledge, the National Center for Agriscience and Technology Education. The scholarships were funded by a grant from Pioneer Hi-Bred International.
The $500 awards are intended to support the students as they study advanced agribusiness and agriculture science programs. Additional funding was provided to the scholarship recipients by AgrowKnowledge, for attendance at the group's recent conference in Kansas City.
