Successful Farming continues to support Farm Safety 4 Just Kids

Successful Farming magazine, a long-time supporter of Farm Safety 4 Just Kids, has renewed its commitment to the farm safety movement. Successful Farming generously donated $8,000 to support the organization's volunteer chapter network. In addition to the financial contribution, Successful Farming donates in-kind advertising space and features articles about Farm Safety 4 Just Kids at various times throughout the year.

Farm Safety 4 Just Kids works to raise awareness about rural health and safety hazards to protect children and youth. The backbone of the organization is the 135 volunteer chapters who work with Outreach Coordinators, extension and safety specialists, and other Ag education groups, such as 4-H and FFA, to conduct safety programs in their communities. Farm Safety 4 Just Kids relies upon donations from agri-businesses to produce up-to-date and relevant health and safety materials and demonstrations for their volunteers.

"Successful Farming magazine proudly serves farming and ranching families across the country," said Gene Johnston, Managing Editor for Successful Farming and Agriculture Online. "By supporting Farm Safety 4 Just Kids and raising awareness about rural health and safety hazards, we're helping to eduate and protect our readers and their families."
