Bountiful bread

Agriculture.com Staff 01/14/2009 @ 11:00pm

There's nothing more homey than the scent of fresh-baked bread on a cold winter day. Here are three recipes that are sure to warm up your home.

The Whole Wheat Apple-Nut Bread blends together a mix of healthy sweetness, while the Lemon Bread offers a mild zesty lemon flavor. These two breads are made the traditional way.

But since January is bread machine month, the third recipe -- Cherry Almond Bread -- is a sweet treat that requires a bread machine.

Whether you bake bread in an oven or with a machine, fill your home with the wonderful aroma of fresh-baked breads.
