Women in Agriculture conference to be held in Virginia

Virginia Women in Agriculture, a conference designed to provide educational opportunities for women involved in agriculture and agribusiness, will be offered by Virginia Cooperative Extension, Tuesday, March 21, in Staunton, Virginia.

Around 150 women who are farmers, landowners and in agribusiness are expected to participate in the day-long event. Topics will include future trends, change and innovation in Virginia agriculture, business planning, on-farm sales, and government programs. A panel discussion will also be held, with women producers discussing their innovative farm enterprises.
