UK Grasslands are subject to various forms, intensities and combinations of fertilizer regime. The ecological implications of such differences are well established within academic research, the social implications less so. When i talk about social implications; my focus is on 'Cultural Ecosystem Services', these concern the anthropocentric benefits we receive as a result of ecosystem health - aesthetic, well being, spiritual, recreational etc. This aspect of the environment and nature is seldom explored; the following 5 minute survey explores the cultural ecosystem services of UK grasslands, the results of which will be written into an exploratory article to be posted mid December. . .
