Bergman Grains Midday

The ag markets are trading mixed with old crop beans and meal trading to new highs while corn and wheat work lower.  Sep. corn is down 5, Dec. down 6, August beans up 24, Nov. up 11, Chicago wheat down 7, KC down 6, and MW down 2.

Corn traded its highest price on the open last night, but has spent much of the morning trading in the mid-4.90’s.  There was big volume put selling on the open this morning of the Dec. 4.50’s, but the trade has been pretty quiet other than that.  Ratings are expected to be supportive this afternoon, but the cool forecast is keeping buyers away this morning.
