Nitrates and Prussic a problem, but what about Sil 08/05/2012 @ 5:58am We would have had a seccond cutting of hay in my area, but after we baled the Brome and got a unexpected rainfall, the new grass would have made a second cutting of 2 bales per acre. However the Silverleaf Nightshade invaded. We can spray, but it is still toxic in dry and dead forage. This is toxic enough that 1 lb of dry or green matter will kill a 1000lb animal!!! It is a Rhizome, it must be removed and burned to get rid of it, but we are in a statewide burn ban due to the drought. Eradication of this is a must. Oklahoma
