As SIMA 2007 came to a close on Thursday, March 8th, numbers surpassed 2005 figures. The show saw an increase of 8% over 2005 with 213,761 entrances representing 142,840 visitors. On average, the size of the event required 50% of visitors to spend a second day at the exhibition.
International visitors also saw an increase, and the exhibition recorded a rise in attendance by Central and Eastern European countries.
The trends highlighted by the Innovation Awards were confirmed by ag equipment experts: improved sector performance, improved operation and safety for people and machines, and environmental protection.
