Seed Meter Check-up: Slip Plates and Markings

It’s important for the planter to work properly that each part of the planter is working. One major piece to look at is seed meter. Kevin Kimberley, crop consultant from Iowa, has seen many meters of all colors and kinds come through his shop. Each meter is a little different than the others. Check out these areas before taking your planter to the field.
