When it comes to maintaining and refueling equipment in the field, innovations like Thunder Creek Equipment's 990SS Service Special and Featherlite's 1570 fuel trailer keep equipment moving.

990SS service special

With 990 gallons of fuel-carrying capacity and a cumulative 64 cubic feet of storage space for tools and parts, the 990SS is a complete field service solution.

The trailer rides on an 8-inch C-channel chassis with three 6,000-pound torsion axles. Choose either a gooseneck or bumper hitch.

“With a GVWR of 18,000 pounds, it was necessary to beef up the structure of the trailer to ensure the strength and durability our customers have come to expect, while maintaining the customers' ability to pull the trailer behind their existing truck,” says Luke Van Wyk, Thunder Creek Equipment's general manager.

The trailer also features:

• A front toolbox to house the pumping systems.

• A driver-side tool cabinet that can be equipped with a factory-installed six-drawer tool chest.

• A passenger-side tool cabinet with one shelf.

• A rear utility box that can be left open or customized.

• An optional 100-gallon DEF tank and Thunder Creek Equipment's patent-pending two-in-one DEF pumping system.

“We are getting ever closer to that goal of putting a hitch on your shop and taking it right out to the field with you,” says Van Wyk.

Price starts at $24,030. To learn more, call 866/535-7667 or visit www.ThunderCreekEquipment.com.

Model 1570 fuel Trailer

The Model 1570 aluminum fuel trailer from Featherlite is a compact unit that includes a sight gauge for its 540-gallon fuel tank. Baffles in the back reduce fuel movement.

The trailer also includes a gas-powered transfer pump, 25-foot-long retractable hose reel with fuel nozzle, fuel filter, drain plug, and an enclosed compartment with lockable doors. A standard trailer is 4 feet, 11 inches wide and 9 feet, 4 inches long.

“The Featherlite fuel trailer is compact, is easy to tow, and allows safe fueling of equipment on location,” explains Randy Lewis, Featherlite national sales manager.

MSRP is $19,890. To learn more, call 800/800-1230 or visit www.fthr.com.
