John Deere Gator XUV 825i

  • opening

For four days our team of 12 experienced riders put eight of the newest UTVs through their paces on Little Goose Ranch in Wyoming. Each machine was run on trails through the flat fields, rolling rangeland, and narrow mountain pathways. At the left, you see the John Deere Gator XUV 825i on a rocky trail.

The Gator XUV 825i, John Deere’s utility side-by-side, can haul 1,000 pounds and tow up to 1,500 pounds. The XUV comes standard with manual dump with lift assist shock or you have the option of power lift.

  • suspension

The XUV uses fully independent dual a-arm with adjustable coils in the front and rear suspension system. The machine has 8 inches of travel in the front and 9 in the rear.

  • seats

Choose from high-back, bucket, or bench seats. You can also upgrade to the performance, high-back seats.

  • dash

The XUV’s dash is centered on the machine, rather than above the steering wheel. It displays speed, RPM, a fuel gauge, and below there is a toggle switch to select between two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive unlocked, and four-wheel drive locked.
