Brazil farmers to plant less in 2006-2007

BIRMINGHAM, England (Dow Jones)--Declining profits and cash flow problems are likely to lead Brazilian farmers to plant less overall area in the 2006-07 season, Ivan Wedekin, secretary of agricultural policy for Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply said Tuesday.
