The CME Group announced its trading floors are closed at both the CME and CBOT buildings on Monday, January 21 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

On Monday, the CME Globex electronic trading will have a regular open at 6 pm CST.

On Friday, the CBOT March corn contract settled 3 3/4 cents lower at $4.98 1/4. Dec corn finished 6 cents lower at $5.15.

For soybeans, the March contract finished 6 cents lower at $12.64. The CBOT November contract closed 14 3/4 cents lower at $12.55 1/4.

The March wheat futures closed 22 cents higher at $9.62 1/2. At Kansas City, Minneapolis, and the Chicago wheat exchanges all new crop months reached new contract highs Friday.
