Corn, soybeans close higher

DES MOINES, Iowa (Agriculture.com)--To end the week, the CME Group corn, soybean, and wheat markets closed higher Friday.


At the close, the Dec. corn futures contract closed 7 cents higher at $4.68. The Nov. soybean futures contract settled 1 cent higher at $13.67. Dec. wheat futures finished 7 cents higher at $6.47 per bushel. The Dec. soymeal futures closed $0.50 per short ton lower at $428.90. The Dec. soyoil futures finished $0.19 higher at $43.72. 


In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil is $2.06 per barrel higher, the dollar is lower, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 61 points higher.
