Corn, soybeans close lower

DES MOINES, Iowa (Agriculture.com)--The CME Group soybean market experienced a broad-based selloff in commodities, finishing lower across the floor Tuesday.

The Sep. corn futures closed 14 cents lower at $8.06, while the Dec. contract ended 9 1/4 cents lower at $8.04 3/4. The August soybean contract settled 4 3/4 cents lower $17.21, Nov. futures finished 2 1/2 cents lower at $16.41. The Sep. wheat futures finished 26 1/4 cents lower at $8.88 1/4. Aug. soyoil futures ended $0.02 lower at $52.55. The Aug. soymeal futures settled $0.30 lower at $546.00. 
In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil is $1.05 per barrel lower, the dollar is lower and the Dow Jones Industrials are 42 points lower.
