Corn, soybeans end higher

DES MOINES, Iowa (Agriculture.com)--The CME Group's rally helped the corn, soybean, and wheat markets close higher Wednesday.


The Dec. corn futures contract settled 4 1/2 cents higher at $4.42. The Nov. soybean futures contract closed 7 3/4 cents higher at $13.10. Dec. wheat futures finished 1 cent higher at $7.01 per bushel. The Dec. soymeal futures contract ended $5.30 per short ton higher at $421.40. The Dec. soyoil futures finished $0.02 lower at $41.50.

 

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil is $0.04 per barrel lower, the dollar is unchanged, and the Dow Jones Industrials are 57 points lower.
