DES MOINES, Iowa (Agriculture.com)--After starting significantly higher, the corn market closed in slightly positive territory. The soybean market was the floor leader Monday. The CME Group Dec. corn futures closed 1 3/4 cents higher at $6.51. The Nov. soybean contract settled 14 1/2 cents higher at $12.26 3/4. The Dec. wheat futures closed 10 1/2 cents higher at $6.42 1/4. The Dec. soymeal futures ended $5.00 per short ton higher at $321.50. The Dec. soyoil futures settled $0.54 higher at $51.79. In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil is $3.97 per barrel higher, the dollar is lower and the Dow Jones Industrials are up 74 points.
