Early calls for the corn, soybean, and wheat markets

CHICAGO, Illinois (Agriculture.com)--The pre-opening prices for the CME Group grain commodities for Friday, September 10, 2010 are subject to the USDA Crop Production and World Supply/Demand Reports to be released at 7:30a.m. CST.

In overnight electronic trading, the Dec. corn futures contract traded 2 3/4 cents higher at $4.73 1/2 per bushel. The Nov. soybean futures contract traded 1/4 of a cent higher at $10.46 per bushel. The Dec. wheat futures contract traded 2 cents lower at $7.36. For Dec. soymeal futures, the contract traded $0.50 per short ton lower at $301.50, and Dec. soyoil up 0.20 point at $41.79.

The outside markets are supportive for Friday's grain trade. The real factors driving the early calls will be the USDA data.
