Farm markets end mostly lower

DES MOINES, Iowa (Agriculture.com)--After trading mixed all session, the CME Group corn, soybean and wheat markets mostly lower Friday.

At the close:

The Dec. corn futures settled 2 1/4 cents higher at $6.55 3/4. The Jan. soybean contract closed 6 1/4 cents lower at $12.21. The Dec. wheat futures end 3/4 of a cent higher at $6.36 3/4. The Dec. soymeal futures close $0.90 per short ton higher at $315.40. The Dec. soyoil futures close $0.16 lower at $51.87. 


In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil is $0.25 per barrel higher, the dollar is higher and the Dow Jones Industrials are down 81 points.

Ahead of next Wednesday's USDA Crop Production Report, analysts are estimating lower corn and soybean yields.
