Farm markets trade mostly lower

DES MOINES, Iowa (Agriculture.com)--In early trading, the CME Group farm futures markets trade mostly lower Monday.

The Dec. corn futures opened 3/4 of a cent lower at $6.39 1/4. The Nov. soybean contract opened 8 3/4 cents lower at $12.61 1/4. The Dec. wheat futures opened 6 1/4 cents higher at $6.29. The Dec. soymeal futures opened $1.00 per short ton lower at $326.60. The Dec. soyoil futures opened $0.44 lower at $53.10.

In the outside markets, the NYMEX crude oil is $0.60 per barrel lower, the dollar is higher and the Dow Jones Industrials are down 131 points.
