Grains called higher for Monday

Jeff Caldwell 12/20/2010 @ 8:24am Multimedia Editor for Agriculture.com and Successful Farming magazine.

Strong overnight prices have early calls higher for corn, soybeans and wheat for Monday's trade, analysts say.

Early calls are corn 3-5 higher, soybeans 8-10 higher and wheat 9-11 higher, according to private sources.

Early gains are expected after a stronger overnight trade: As of 6:15 AM in the eCBOT electronic trade, March corn was 3 3/4 cents higher, January soybeans were 8 1/4 higher and March wheat was 9 1/4 higher, according to a Dow Jones Newswires report.
