Soybeans lead grains higher Tuesday

Jeff Caldwell 10/09/2012 @ 7:48am Multimedia Editor for Agriculture.com and Successful Farming magazine.

It's Turnaround Tuesday, at least as the grains get the day started. And, soybeans appear to be in the lead.

Corn, soybean and wheat futures are all moving higher in electronic trading. December corn is 3 3/4 cents higher at $7.45 3/4 per bushel, while November soybeans are 18 1/2 higher at $15.69 1/2 and December wheat is 9 cents higher at $8.70.

"All are bouncing with beans the leader taking off from some key technical support. Not a lot of fundamental news on the horizon until we get the report on Thursday," says Agriculture.com market analyst, trader and options specialist with Trean Group in Chicago, Scott Shellady.
