U.S. wheat acres expected to be higher in USDA report

CHICAGO (Dow Jones)--U.S. grain analysts expect the U.S. Department of Agriculture to report Thursday a year-over-year increase in U.S. winter wheat seedings as American farmers switch from more highly fertilizer-dependent corn acres due to high costs of energy.
