BASF rolls out herbicide, fungicide incentives

BASF and Farm Plan have teamed up to help growers maximize their investment for their 2010 purchases, according to a company report.

Under the program, growers can finance their purchase of 2 crop protection products from BASF, like Headline fungicide or Kixor herbicide technology, through Farm Plan with 0% interest through next fall. To take advantage of this special offer, growers need to sign up by February 15, 2010.

"We realize that this year, more than ever, it's important for our customers to have access to our innovative portfolio of crop protection products," said Stephanie Jensen, Channel Strategy Manager for BASF. "BASF is pleased to work with Farm Plan to ensure growers have the opportunity to get the most out of every acre, and their investment, with BASF and Farm Plan."

This offer is available to Farm Plan Preferred accountholders with a special terms credit limit. In order to qualify for this financing offer, you must make an initial minimum purchase of $10,000 which must comprise at least two individual product purchases with a minimum of $1,000 each. In addition to special financing options through Farm Plan, qualified growers may save up to $100 per gallon on their 2010 purchase of Headline fungicide.

Headline Advantage offers qualified growers who purchase Headline fungicide for the 2010 season returns for every gallon purchased from authorized BASF retailers:

  • If purchased by February 15, growers may receive $100 per gallon back
  • If purchased by May 15, growers may receive $75 per gallon back
  • If purchased by August 15, growers may receive $50 per gallon back
