There's a new player in the online grain marketing business.

AgriCharts, the agricultural division of Barchart.com, Inc., which provides website hosting, market data and technology to agribusinesses, has launched a variety of new enhancements to its commodity cash bid management system.

According to a report from Barchart.com, Inc., agribusinesses like grain elevators, co-ops and ethanol plants use AgriCharts for website hosting and the management and publishing of their cash bids for commodity markets including corn, soybeans and wheat. The enhancements include: Real-time cash bid access for grain buyers and producers; synchronization of cash bids with third-party front and back-office applications; and, new cash bid display functionality, including cash bid charts and historical cash bid data download.

Agribusinesses using the AgriCharts website hosting platform can now provide their producers with real-time access to their cash bids, as well as futures quotes, directly through a grain elevator or co-op's website.

"We are able to offer grain elevators and similar businesses features and content for their website which is available no where else, in addition to dedicated support and training," says Eero Pikat, President of Barchart.
