New Dow AgroSciences site offers info for small grains growers

Dow AgroSciences has introduced a new Web site devoted solely to its small grains portfolio at ProtectMyGrain.com. Review sections for the company's herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. Each product description offers a quick-glance summary of the pests controlled, active ingredients, use rates and a link to more detailed information about the product.

"We're excited about the diverse portfolio that we're building for small grains," says Jim Parker, marketing specialist for Dow AgroSciences. "The registrations this year for CleanWave and Starane NXTcp herbicides, along with WideMatch just two years ago, shows our commitment to this market."

Products featured at ProtectMyGrain.com include WideMatch, CleanWave, Starane NXTcp, Starane, Curtail, Curtail M, Durango and Glyphomax XRT herbicides, as well as Lorsban-4E insecticide and PropiMax EC fungicide.

Growers who have used WideMatch herbicide are encouraged to share comments about their experiences in a "Talk Back" feature on the site. "We think this Talk Back feature will be a neat way for producers to share the fit that WideMatch has in their operations with other small grains growers," Parker says.
