New Dow site examines benefits of soil-applied herbicides

Agriculture.com Staff 02/15/2006 @ 9:26am

A new Web site from Dow AgroSciences, www.CleanCorn.com, aims to demonstrate the benefits of soil-applied herbicides to both conventional and herbicide-tolerant corn weed-control systems.

The site offers video testimonials from growers, retailers and crop consultants, plus examples of weed control programs for both Roundup Ready and conventional corn.

A profit calculator, supported by university data, is also included. It allows growers to see of profitability can be affected when grasses and weeds are allowed to compete with early emerging corn.

The site also features product information on the company's corn herbicides.
