07/25/2010 @ 11:00pm

CHICAGO, Illinois (Agriculture.com)--The pre-opening prices for the CME Group grain commodities for Monday, July 26, 2010 are lower. The early calls for corn are 1-2 cents lower, soybeans and wheat 2-4 cents lower.

In overnight electronic trading, the Dec. corn futures contract traded 3/4 of a  cent lower at $3.83 3/4 per bushel. The Nov. soybean futures contract traded 4 3/4 cents lower at $9.76 3/4 per bushel. The Sep. wheat futures contract traded 5 1/4 cents lower at $5.91. For Dec. soymeal futures, the contract traded $2.70 per short ton lower at $280.60, and Dec. soyoil down 6 points at $39.70.

The outside markets are mildly supportive for Monday's grain trade. The real factor driving the lower early calls is the lower overnight market.
