The 2011 AG CONNECT Expo kicked off Friday at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Show officials expect more than 380 exhibitors to fill the more than 175,000 square feet of exhibit space.Friday morning kicks off the networking and educational sessions taking place throughout the event, which runs through Monday.

"Our objective is to create a gathering place for the industry. That's always been our objective, and with this year's event, we're taking another step toward that," AG CONNECT Expo show director Sara Truesdale Mooney said Saturday morning.
