Recent data shows the climb in cash rent levels paid by farmers will likely slow in the next year in the heart of the Corn Belt. The numbers come after a summer when speculation grew about how this year's drought may influence not just rent levels, but also land values in general, in the next year, especially if the moisture deficit in corn and soybean country continues.
