Midwest corn, soybean and winter wheat highlights 

 West: Scattered showers and thunderstorms of .25-1.00 inch with locally 

heavier. The heaviest activity was over parts of central and northwest Iowa 

with amounts up to 3.5 inches observed. Temperatures near to above normal with 

highs in the middle 80s to middle 90s. 

East: Dry conditions or just a few light showers with locally heavier. 

Temperatures above normal with highs in the upper 80s to middle 90s, upper 90s 

to low 100s in the south.

West:   Dry conditions or just a few light showers today. Mostly dry weather on 

Thursday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms of .50-1.50 inches with locally 

heavier on Friday. Mostly dry weather Saturday-Monday. Scattered showers and 

thunderstorms on Tuesday. High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to 

middle 90s through Saturday, low to middle 80s Sunday-Tuesday. 

East  Scattered light showers with locally heavier today. Dry conditions or 

just a few light showers on Thursday and Friday. Scattered showers and 

thunderstorms of .25-.75 inch with locally heavier over the weekend. Mostly dry 

weather on Monday and Tuesday. High temperatures will range from the upper 80s 

to middle 90s through Sunday, upper 90s to low 100s in the south, low to middle 

80s on Monday and Tuesday. 

6-10 day outlook...Temperatures near to above normal. Rainfall near to above 

normal north, near to below normal south. 

Mississippi Delta highlights 

    Widely scattered light showers observed. Temperatures above normal with 

highs in the middle to upper 90s.

low to middle 90s on Monday and Tuesday.
