USDA pegs '08 corn at 90 million acres, soybeans at 71 million acres
At this week's Agricultural Outlook Forum in Arlington, Virginia, USDA officials released their guess for the 2008 corn and soybean crops. As many in the industry expected, corn acres are seen down from last year, while soybeans are increasing by just over 7 million acres, according to Dow Jones Newswires reports.
