Harvest is almost here (or already is here, depending on your location), and it's the culmination of what's ended up a year of disappointment for many farmers. But there's still a crop in the field, and there are still a lot of bright spots among the doldrums of a crop that's fallen short of early expectations after a cool, wet spring followed by a superheated, dry summer. As harvest nears, check out some of the latest reports from farmers around the country.
