Corn, soybean markets await USDA

04/10/2012 @ 7:00am

With the USDA releasing its monthly WASDE Report and World Production estimates at 7:30am central time, the CME Group corn, soybean and wheat markets will wait to see their opening fate Tuesday.

The Early Calls are subject to the Reports.

In overnight trading, the July corn futures contract traded 1 1/4 cents higher at $6.43 per bushel. July soybean futures traded 10 1/4 cents higher at $14.45 per bushel, and July wheat traded 3 1/4 cents higher at $6.52 1/4. For July soybean meal futures, the contract traded $2.80 per short ton higher at $393.90. July soybean oil futures traded $0.50 higher at $57.60.

The outside markets are mostly unfriendly for Tuesday's grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the USDA's Reports Tuesday.
