The CME Group corn, soybean and wheat markets will attempt a recovery to start Tuesday's trading session.
The Early Calls for the commodities on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, are higher. Corn is seen opening 6-8 cents higher, soybeans 7-9 cents higher, and wheat 6-8 cents higher.
In overnight trading, the Dec. corn futures contract traded 6 cents higher at $7.43 per bushel. Nov. soybean futures traded 7 cents higher at $14.99 per bushel, and Dec. wheat traded 6 cents higher at $8.54. For Dec. soybean meal futures, the contract traded $0.90 per short ton lower at $457.00. Dec. soybean oil futures traded $0.32 lower at $50.33.
The outside markets are mostly favorable for Tuesday's grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the higher overnight markets.
