The Early Calls for the commodities on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, are higher. Corn is seen opening 3-4 cents higher, soybeans 4-6 cents higher, and wheat up 3-5 cents.
In overnight electronic trading, the Dec. corn futures contract traded 2 1/4 cents higher at $6.53 per bushel. The Jan. soybean futures contract traded 4 1/2 cents higher at $12.38 1/4 per bushel. The outside markets are unfavorable for Wednesday's grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the higher overnight markets.
