Farm markets to begin higher Tuesday

01/29/2013 @ 7:36am

The CME Group corn, soybean and wheat markets are poised to start higher Tuesday.

The Early Calls for the commodities on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, are slightly higher. Corn is seen opening 1-2 cents higher, soybeans 2-4 cents higher, and wheat 1-2 cents higher.

In overnight trading, the March corn traded 1 cent higher at $7.30.   March soybean futures traded 2 cents higher at $14.49 per bushel. March wheat futures traded 1 cent higher at $7.80.

The outside markets are unfavorable for Tuesday's grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the slightly higher overnight markets.
