04/05/2013 @ 7:26am

DES MOINES, Iowa (Agriculture.com)--The CME Group corn, soybean and wheat markets are poised for a lower trading session Friday.

The early calls for the commodities on Friday, April 5, 2013, are lower.

In overnight trading, the May corn futures contract traded 1 cent lower at $6.29 per bushel. May soybean futures traded 13 cents lower at $13.59 per bushel, and May wheat traded 2 cents lower at $6.91. For May soybean meal futures, the contract traded $4.00 per short ton lower at $393.10 May soybean oil futures traded $0.16 cents lower at $48.39.

The outside markets are unfavorable for Friday's grain trade. The real factors driving the calls will be the lower overnight markets.
