Friday grains look to start lower

Jeff Caldwell 10/07/2011 @ 7:24am Multimedia Editor for Agriculture.com and Successful Farming magazine.

After Thursday's higher start but quick reversal into the red, the grains are expected to continue that lower trend Friday, as traders continue to posture ahead of next week's USDA crop production and supply/demand reports.

Early calls for the grains are corn 9-11 lower, soybeans 11-14 lower and wheat 7-10 lower, according to private sources.
