3" plus already this week. Southeast of Iowa City. River rising. Every mud hole standing full. Any rain next week with these low temps and your looking at May before any field work will get started. Worst of it is that half of this just ran off.. Accu weather doesn't show 70 temps until end of month.

Since when has 1-1/2" to 2" been considered a heavy rain? I've always considered these amounts to be nice rain occurrence. 3"+ would in my opinion would fall under the "Heavy Rains Column".
