USDA FULL OF BULL 06/02/2011 @ 10:36am USDA has never once told us the truth when things look dire. There is no way that 80% of the corn crop is planted. As a farmer knowing many farmers in SD, MN, ND and southern SK and MB have seeded much less then 50% of their corn and wheat is far less. I have 600 acres in as of june 2 - farm 3800 acres in ND. Obama crew runs USDA they are trying to keep a lid on the massive problems we are facing with millions of acres not going to be seeded. It's a done deal already - this is the worst scenario I have seen in my nearly 20 years of farming. The private sector will hopefully realize that USDA is always full ob BS; and we will see a run on all crop prices. USDA's job is to try to keep food affordable - period. They do not work for the farmer; what farmer doesn't know that already??!!
