Why should the taxpayer be subsidizing crop insurance for larger farmers who in turn pay ever increasing cash rents which put smaller operators out of business? Lower the limit to $20,000 and if the farmer wants to rent more land let him pay his own crop insurance premiums. If we don't do something about the budget deficit we'll end up in the same shape as Greece.
