Why do the Chinese want Subsidy cuts so bad?
Richard Ohge 03/26/2012 @ 11:52am
this was part of the over all "Dog & Pony Show" that accompanied VP Xi's US Tour a few weeks back. Oh, sure, he ordered up some Soy Beans, got all homey with everybody, but kept remarking that doing away with subsidies would "level the Market playing field" and "improve Market relations between the US and the rest of the 'Global Market' (he meant China)". When the heir apparent of a nation that is our main competitor on a number of fronts wants something, I don't think that's really an invitation to give it to him.
